Hello!

Welcome to my blog!

This is my first post, and, I want to thank my distinguished colleague and technical mentor Matthew Rogers who has done a fine job of introducing  me to this wonderful environment!  I would also like to thank word press for providing this extensible context for allowing me to make my contribution to our currently darkened world.

As a Jamaican immigrant, and a mature student who returned to school to obtain two degrees from Williams College in Moral Philosophy, and a Masters in Education in the area of Human Development and Psychology with a concentration in children and adolescents at-risk from the Harvard Graduate School of Education – I was inspired to develop the Rose Garden Forum as a program to reduce the effects of racism in schools, to close the academic achievement gap, and to increase parental involvement.

Indeed, as the late MIT professor Thomas Kuhn once wrote, “the margins change the center – than the center change itself,”  it is in this sense that I have developed the Rose Garden Forum.  So, what is the Rose Garden Forum?
